Eviction, Site Clearance, Equipment Sale & Debt Recovery

Macleod Company Ltd recently assisted a local landowner & Commercial agent with the eviction of, site clearance & debt recovery from a tenant. The tenant was in serious debt and wasn't in a position to carry on trading. We went in and assisted the tenant with the sale of equipment, debt management and acted as mediators between the land agent, land owner and the tenant. Macleod Company Ltd set up a deal that worked for all parties. We cleared the site and dispersed all the remaining equipment. The land agent and the landowner left everything in our capable hands. We find our calm, caring, but firm approach helps us achieve the very best outcomes for everyone involved.

Asset Recovery

We were notified of a machine that had been hired with false documents. The hire company’s machines all had Trackers fitted. Within the hour we had our team on the road and located the machine in question very quickly. The machine was stored in a secure yard, we gained access and took possession of the machine. While on site we found a selection of Plant, all serial numbers were checked and the Plant was all stolen and being stored ready for suspected export! We recovered all the machinery in the same day and assisted a number of insurance companies. Some machinery was returned to its original owner and others were sold by us on behalf of the insurance companies.

Underwriting & Purchase Of Trade In Machinery

We underwrite and purchase machinery, equipment and assets for small, larger and multinational companies on a daily basis. We recently assisted a major manufacturer in the Groundcare industry with a large deal. The supplier received an order to equip sites across the UK with brand new equipment. Macleod Company Ltd underwrote and purchased all the used equipment. We supplied all the transport with our own vehicles and collected the machinery from various sites on the same day the new equipment was delivered. To quote the suppliers "We wouldn't have got the deal without your services" this is our daily business and we pride ourselves on a professional, efficient approach. Its simple “WE MAKE IT EASY”.

Commision Sale & End Of Lease Clearance

In one of our biggest sales, we assisted a major company with offices across the world, to dispose of all its equipment & assets in the UK. The company was closing its UK operations due to moving in a different direction. On commission, we disposed of vans, trucks, plant, machinery and office equipment. We cleared the sites across the UK, liaising with commercial agents to hand back the sites to meet the requirements of the lease. Macleod Company Ltd handled the whole process from start to finish. We will happily manage sites on behalf of customers, land agents, commercial agents, tenants and land owners.
